Attack of Minimalism: Chicken Soup for the Soul

Back when collecting was a thing, I amassed 70 porcelain dolls! I knew their names and stories. When I decided to solo backpack the world for a few years, the first thing I needed to tackle was finding a new home for these dolls. I didn’t want to sell them, so I took them to a local nursing home and gave them away. The residents were so happy! We gave a blind woman a baby with soft-to-the-touch pajamas, and a woman named Rosa a doll with the same name. What a blessing to see all the women reminiscing and enjoying the dolls! After that, giving away the rest of my stuff was easy.
